Spring is coming

Hi All,

First off all the spring is officially in but the weather wants to confuse us here with still snow last week. Now it looks like its getting warmer but for sure more sun so hopefully we finally can enjoy the warmer weather.

Lets go back were we ended the last blog:
Sunday March 11th i picked up the boys and José from the airport. They went for 4 days to Iceland (David stays for one more week in Iceland with his company) while i had the house for myself :). Monday was it back to normal a painful thing for the boys as they came home late yesterday but luckily made it to school ;). Jack did audition for the musical "high school musical" at school and got a role. Couple of days a week he stays longer at school to do rehearsals. Other then that no new things during the week.
Saturday March 17th it was St. Patricks day and had decided with a couple of friends to celebrate it in Boston. Early Saturday morning as i was driving, picked up everybody and off we went. With a little detour (sightseeing) to Newport over some great bridges, and some stops did we came around Lunchtime at our Airbnb. Bought some alcohol and some food, the rest of the afternoon getting ready for tonight :). Around 18.00 we went into Boston doing our tour in the Irish pubs :). Unfortunately one of my friends forgot his phone in an uber and that was basically the end of our evening out. They are really strict in Boston with identification so we had to show our passport in every club/pub. Thats to risky to take with us and they accept a photo too but these are on our phone. To be honest wasn't to bad for me to go home around 00.00. As my alarm went at 5.00 this morning and been drinking for a while. As soon as i hit my bed in the Airbnb i was fast asleep.
Sunday playing the tourist in Boston first to the Harvard University a whole village with great historic buildings. There was a really cold icy cutting wind in Boston. Didn't stay too long outside. After we saw a bit back to the car and parked our car in Boston city. Pretty expensive as we had to pay $40 for 3.5 hour parking :o. But well we are in the middle of the centre. A quick lunch and some heating up so we can go again outside and see more of Boston. Nice city not so big but still a great look. Around 17.00 back to the car and started the trip back home. Around 23.00 after everybody to have dropped off i was finally home it was a long but great weekend.

On Wednesday the kids had another snow day. I don't know what is or went wrong but woke up and no snow. Finally at 11.00 it started to snow and of course then it went fast but the kids could have gone at least a half day to school but well next time better. So another snowstorm came over but on Friday everything was gone it goes so quick eith the changing temperatures.
That weekend (March 24-25) decided with 2 friends Maaike (dutch) and Julia (Brazilian) to go into NYC. Brought my camera to make some pictures and be the tourist in our city. Walked lots but it was it worth because we did see so many places and the weather was great. Saw from a distance Statue of Liberty. Walked over the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridge. As well as over the first freight railway. Around 18.00 Maaike went home and Julia and i bought some tickets for an Ice-hockey game from the New York Islanders was not the best ice-hockey there is but it was fun to watch. Because we hadn't walked enough haha, we walked back over the Brooklyn bridge were you have an awesome view over Manhattan. Because it was late there just a couple of people on the bridge and the view was spectacular in the dark :). After some more pictures went home and slept really well :).
Sunday went to church with the family and after to a brunch at the beach club.

The last week for the boys before Springbreak. Friday was their first vacation day. Relaxing at home :).
Saturday went again to the city this time to have lunch with 4 other dutch au pairs was funny to speak with so many dutch people but because i'm still doing my best to speak dutch to the kids isn't it to hard to switch from English to Dutch.
Easter Sunday at 9.00 church after church bit home and then went for Brunch to the Beachclub with some friends of David and José. So much food and everything nicely decorated. I went a bit earlier home with Jack to hide all the easter eggs. For the kids Easter hunt. We have a big garden so lots of places to look, the kids enjoyed it.
Later that day i went for a drink with 2 other friends. Other then in The Netherlands here in USA they only have Easter Sunday so Monday was back to action. Jack and Stephen (oldest and middle hostkid) suppose to have a Lacrosse clinic in the morning and i went with Lucas and a friend of him to Legoland. The weather forecast did predict a bit of snow in the night/morning but when i opened my curtains everything was covered under 10-15cm of snow. This should have been the first day of free from school :). I do have a big GMC Denali truck to drive, i didn't mind to drive and still went to Legoland in a mall. Was great fun for the boys and spent a morning with building and having fun after had lunch and went home.
Following days every morning the boys where busy with different clinics and gave me a bit of free time what i normally used to go to the gym. Tuesday went to the movies "Sherlock Gnomes" Terrible movie haha and later to Sweet Charlies (hand rolled ice cream) great to see how they make the ice cream. On Friday with David and the boys to a climbing adventure park. Just opened last Saturday so everything was brand new. The weather was oke but not great what made it really quiet and we didn't have to wait so a win win.
Yesterday April 8th went by bike to a watchmaker to replace a battery. Felt good to be back on 2 wheels :). In the evening went to White Plains to have a great evening with some Brazilian friends.

While I'm writing this it is Sunday afternoon. Had a nice sleep in and a relaxing day ahead of me.
José left last Friday for 10days to Canada for her work. David will leave tomorrow for 5 days to Canada too. Kaisa (babysitter) will come over to help me with the boys so we can rock this week. Lacrosse season just have started what makes the weeks even more busy but great fun for the boys. Wish me luck this following week ;).
Also last month i got a movie pass. For the next year i can watch unlimited movies in the cinema what of course i already with 4 movies. Lots to see more :).

Have all a great week and speak to you soon hopefully a bit earlier then this time. If not in 2 weeks I'm going to Miami with Maaike really looking forward to some nice weather and a great adventure.

Ciao Ciao.
All the way form NYC

Skiing, beachvolleyball and more

Heey all,
Its been a couple weeks ago i wrote something on my blog.

Enjoy everyone.

Last time i was still in Aspen Colorado, what an amazing place that is. After tuesday first day skiing i went skiing again on Wednesday. Was more comfortable with these things under my feet :). If i would say it myself i went pretty good down the hill and got a bit of speed. It was a great experience for the first time skiing and then at this place magical. On Thursday i decided to go in to Aspen first dropped of the kids and David so they can go skiing for the last day. Then i took the car to by a tourist information asked for a little hike. On the route did see some massive and amazing houses but what else would you expect here in Aspen. The end i had to improvise a bit because the track didn't came all the way back as i was following a river. Went over a little bridge to the other side and last 10 min hiking through high snow, went in till at least over my ankle.
Back in the village went in the Gondola to the top of the mountain the sun was shining when i went in to buy a ticket when i was in the lift snow and clouds came in and gone was the view :o. On the top luckily was there more luck and parts of the clouds disappeared and finally saw some of the amazing scenery i was in. It was already lunch time and hoping with a little bit more time the clouds will disappear more. The luck was on my side because when i went back out the clouds were gone and could make some amazing pictures. Also decide to make a little walk a bit higher up came on a little path where not that many people went and with some steps the snow came till my knees :). It was so much fun.
On the way back with the Gondola the clouds were gone so i could make some great pictures and enjoy the fantastic views and scenery.
Picked up the fam at snow mass Village where they went skiing and drove home. For the last 5 km i walked home as i love hiking and wanna enjoy this nature while i can ;).
What an amazing week it has been thank you so much Kidder Family.
Friday flight back first to LA where the family did stay for the weekend and i went back to NY. Was great to have some relaxing days alone at home.
Saturday 24 March a dutch friend "Maaike" came over and made dinner together and watched later the mens ice hockey final as the Olympics were still on.
Sunday was a nice day and together with Max went to harbor island and played beach volleyball. It was so great to be playing again still bit anxious but i loved it.

The following week back to work. Unfortunately Lucas had caught a bad cough and on Monday had to pick him up from school after a half day. Tuesday went to the doctor and give some medicine. The rest of the week what ever i tried nothing improved the cough. So a longer week for me with him home but luckily in the weekend he got better and the following week went back to school.
On Friday (2th of March) a storm came over NY and pulled over lot of trees and because the electricity wires are above ground , they got pulled down with the trees. Lots and lots of people came without power even the street on the back of our house but we were lucky :). Some friends of my host family weren't that lucky so they lost there power and the kids did stay with us from Monday.
After the storm on Saturday went to a Brewery in Brooklyn was nice to see how they make it an they had some great beers. In the evening i did had to work so not much beer for me but will come back later i'm pretty sure as everybody liked it :).
On Wednesday i had my first ever free form school snow day. Because they where expecting a big snow storm with 18 to 30cm of snow. It was in the night to warm so it just rained. But around 10am the snow kicked in and then it went fast. During the day all kids (5) stayed home and played together inside later in the afternoon a snowball fight because without its not a snow day.
That evening the family had a flight to Iceland and with a miracle there flight wasn't delayed and the went off to Iceland till Sunday.
Because the friends of the Kidders still didn't have power, came and join me from Thursday. They are also dutch sand was nice to have some people around. The following days no work for me what is great met some friends and to the gym when ever i wanted. On Friday went out in White Plains was awesome. Saturday an early St Patricks Parade in White Plains where i went with some friends. Later at home the dutch family had finally power so they went home. One of my friends came over and made dinner together and watched some movies was a nice and relaxing evening.
Last night daylight saving came and now it is 5 hours difference for 2 weeks with home.

Today a cleaning up day and relaxing before madness start again tomorrow when the kids are home. A good thing to look forwards is the following weekend I'm going to Boston for St Patricks Day with some friends looking forwards to it.

Bye bye all speak to you soon.
If you got any questions let me know.

Colorado is beautiful

Heeyy,
How is everybody doing ?
The weather changing here a lot the really coldd night are over for now. Will see what March will bring us. The temperatures are rising up to 15*C.

Of course a lot of things surprised me in the first 6 weeks. They have a drive thru for so many things: get money by the bank, the pharmacy, even for the Starbucks and pretty sure there will be more. Crazy to stay in the car to get some money :o. But pretty sure there will be more drive thru when i find them will post it in the blog.

Time is running as I'm here almost 2months.
During the week after my ski adventure I had my birthday (31jan) at Wednesday. In the morning some presents from my hostfamily really nice and great. Lots of messages on facebook and whats app. Eat lunch with some au pairs by Panera bread. They give me a helium balloon with have a Jummy birthday (photo is by the album on the blog). In the afternoon first had the boys squash and swimming for Lucas and after we went to Fuji Mountain for Dinner. Japanese food but the make it in front of the table on a grill. Nice show and great food.
The day after Laura (old au pair from The Kidder family) came over with her parents from Belgium. Nice to meet them and spend some time.

What is better to start my 25th year then going Friday evening to White Plains partying and Saturday evening in NYC. Both night were great saw couple of bars in NYC thanks to one of the friends Max who knows a bit there.
Sunday was the day of the Superbowl after a short night i went again to the city to watch it in a bar with some friends. Eagles (Philadelphia) -Patriots (New England) as Philadelphia is the state next to us we did vote for the Eagels they won after a great match with 41-33. It was exiting even it was the second time i did watch American football but because had a favorite it was nerve-racking till the end.

Another week went past with school - gym - free time. Going better with the boys getting more confident with each other. Listening better as i ask them something, so i can trust them a bit more and give them more control.

Saturday Feb 10th i did took Lucas to basketball. Great to see him play, passing to his teammates and most important having fun. Did bring my camera so i can practice making sport pictures.
Later that day it was time to head again to NYC. Started at the oldest pub had some beers and straight to some other clubs enjoyed it again around 5.00 had a ride back home.
Sunday was a rainy day. What made it a lazy day for everybody and did watch lots of the olympics.

The following week was pretty busy. Had some lunches and coffee with friends and in the afternoon managed all the boys activities.
Thursday feb 15 packed the boys ski bags because tomorrow is the day we are going to Coloradoooo.
Friday last packing and went to the gym to have a good workout and be ready for the skiing.
Around midday left Rye and went to JFK airport, no trouble and went on the plane to Salt Lake City. It was a 6 hour flight didn't expect the flight was so long but with a screen in front wasn't it hard. With a bit delay and a sharp stop over did we just make the next plane to Aspen. After another 1,5hour flight we where at our final destination. Following day (saturday) went to the mountain and do some tubing and a mountain rollercoaster was fun and a great day. What a great area and surroundings with all the mountains covered in snow, i love it.
Sunday first day of skiing i just stayed at the beginner hill while the rest went off to the higher part of the mountain. After a couple of runs got more confident with it. It was a warm day lots of sun.
At home i went for a little hike to see a bit more of this great area where we live for a week now, so amazing (pictures are on the site too).
Monday an expected snowstorm came and we had a relaxed morning. Later went to the swimming pool and the cinema. On the way home it had snowed already quiet a bit but made it safely. The rest of the afternoon did it snow.
The whole evening and night did it snow.
Today i skied on the fresh snow that fell. For the first time ever went with everybody up the mountain of course did took a different way down but went pretty good. In the beginning bit uncomfortable but got as i would say pretty good and most of all i loveeee it.

Will stay in Aspen (Basalt) till Friday amazing feeling so spoiled and lucky ;). Will have a great time here I'm sure. But more in the next blog about my ski adventure.

Have a great week,
Speak to you all soon.

Greetings from Colorado.

Ski adventure and more.

Hi all,
Welcome to my new blog there is happened a lot in the last 1.5 week so lets start quickly.

Friday 19th of January did i have a personal trainings session (at the gym) got some help with some equipment and machines that i didn't know which was nice.
Further had a relaxing and good day with the boys in the afternoon. Later took José the boys for a tennis training away so i had the whole house for myself which was great and quiet hihi, enjoyed it.
Saturday a nice sleep in later helped out driving with the boys sports. Around noon José, the boys and I headed to New York City. At 2pm started the show Phantom of the Opera, we just made it in time because of the traffic and the show was amazing. The voices of all where unbelievable and great decor.
After the show we went backstage because one of the lead singers is a good friend of José. This was the cherry on top of this afternoon. What a fantastic experience to see how it goes back stage of a show that already goes for 30 years there.
Early evening went to Larchmont a place 10 min drive. Where I had dinner with 3 other au pairs, Dutch girl ( goes home in 4 days), German and Austrian.
After dinner drove my car back home and went with one car to White Plains where i experienced my first night out in USA. Because of the drinking age of 21 were the people bit older then in The Netherlands what i thought was great. The evening/night was fun. So know for sure that wasn't the last time i went clubbing.

Sunday took the boys just after noon to the beach club for the ice hockey rink where we stayed till 3.30pm. Boys had fun and more and more people came which was great so played hockey at some point 8 against 8, great fun.
Had dinner at one of David and José close friends.
Lots of people I'm meeting in these first weeks but great that the family shares this with me.

A next week start at Monday. First time without help. José was at her office and David was traveling. After school i took the boys to there after school activities which went well and no trouble.
During the week i got more and more comfortable with all there activities and places. Tuesday evening Storm "current au pair" took the boys out for dinner and José/ David were busy working. The au pairs in the area do Taco tuesday so of i went to the place. Met lots of new au pairs. The first time when i looked at the time it was 11.00pm oepss time to go. But at least it was fun.
Wednesday was Starbucks night, great there are so many au pairs in the area and doing so many things together.

Friday after school we were all packed to go to Jimminy Peak skiing. After a car trip of 2.5 hours we came at our apartment. Great spot, after a game of monopoly we went to bed and got charged up for tomorrow.
Saturday morning a good breakfast and getting ready to ski. First rent all the stuff for the boys then i went to my ski school and got my equipment. At 10 am it started and for the next 2 hours i was learning for the first time how to go down a hill on skies. To be honest it didn't go that bad at all. Without that much trouble i went down the hill learning every time more, best of all it was fun.
After the 2 hour lesson i had till 4pm to practice practice and practice.
First a good lunch and of i went again. Getting more confident on the skies.
At 3pm my legs were done with it as so was the rest of my body was a great day. Sun was shining and it was warm no wind, perfect first time.
Rest of the day we spent together with neighbors from our street. Great to meet them and had a nice dinner and some drinks :).

Sunday was pack day. The weather wasn't so good. Just a relaxing morning on the way back we had lunch in a little village in a french restaurant.
In the afternoon Stephen had a basketball game so straight when we got home he went together with David and for the rest was a bit of rest.
Around 5pm we went to the beach club for a drink and some dinner they had organized a winter party. So again for me meeting lots and lots more people.

Monday back to normal after a busy but fun weekend.
Boys all good to go for school without problems. After dropping them off, went to the gym. After this weekend that was really necessary.
Had lunch with some other au pairs, the sun was out all day so after lunch and before i had to pick the boys up some sun time :).

I have only been here by the Kidder Family for 2,5 weeks, if feels much longer done so much and being really busy. Curious what the next week will bring. So far so good.

See you all hopefully next time again.

Cheers,
Rik

New York City it is.

Hi all,

Weclome back to my blog. Now everything has been started so lets quickly begin.

It all started at:

Tuesday 9 jan the big day. After a short sleep did my alarm woke me up at 03:15. The final check and pack to make sure I had everything, ready to go. At Schiphol checked in the bags and tried to find a place for a coffee what wasn't easy for this time of day. Finally the moment has come my adventure is going to start.
Through security was easy with almost no line. Last waves to mom and dad, off I go to the unknown. Almost at the gate I met the 2 other girls who I will be traveling with. First flight was to Frankfurt. Flight was fine spoke together for basically the whole flight :).
Transferring in Frankfurt from our European flight to and international flight what means a proper passport control.
Flight to New York City was fine nothing special happened. Landing was a bit rough because of the wind what made the plane have some turbulence. But just before we felt really bad we landed safely at Newark.
Getting ready for passport security and see if we can come into America hihi. The queue wasn't that long so quickly it was our turn and with no problem we all made it through.
We took a shuttle bus to the hotel in Manhattan. What was great because we saw New York City in the distance, i did expect a big city but wauw to see it for real it is massive all these big buildings.
After checking in by the hotel and relaxing a bit the 3 of us went to Times Square and ate dinner there. A bit more walking and seeing but didn't make it late today because everybody was tired of all traveling .

Wednesday after a good sleep and a nice breakfast we went to another place across the street for our orientation days. There were 46 au pairs in the class what made it the biggest class in a while. First day was a lot of basic stuff about the American lifestyle, driving etc. . In the evening had signed in for a tour through the city guided by an old lady but she was wonderful told a bit of all different buildings while we were walking. Again not a really late night as the training takes a lot of energy.

Thursday again the training this time CPR and first aid. All repetition for me but good to have this reminded. At 18.30 my host dad David picked me up and we drove home. On the way lots or chatting. At home met José and the boys. Later Storm "current au pair" came home with Stephen "the middle one". Was great to finally meet everybody after skyping them for last months.

Friday was a school day for the boys early up and ate breakfast. Storm did bring Jack "oldest" to school because it was a rainy day. Came back and together we dropped off Lucas "youngest" and Stephen "middle" to school. After the drop off Storm showed me around the neighborhood all the special places I did need to know.
In the afternoon picked the boys up from school and stayed for a bit around the house. We had dinner at a restaurant and later went with Storm and the kids (+ Dylan friend of Stephen) to a indoor trampoline park. Were we jumped around for 2 hours. Was great boys enjoyed it and we all had fun.

Saturday busy sports day. Boys to ice hockey and in the afternoon Stephen to Basketball and Jack to lacrosse. Lots of things going on watched couple of there sports. In the evening some relaxing time and watched football.

Sunday went with them to church, nice looking church from the outside and same kind of ceremony i was used to at home.
In the afternoon got me a gym membership and later went ice skating with the kids by the beach club. Long time ago i stood on ice but didn't go to bad keep practicing, boys where just running over the ice with there skates :).
In the evening spent most of the time in my own room and relax.

Monday was an extra day off school for the boys "Martin Luther King Jr. day" but was fun went ice skating again and in the afternoon to Lifetime it is a gym/sports complex where the family often goes to. Was fun to see everything, we did go: swimming, rock climbing, played squash and basketball.

Tuesday was back to normal for the boys brought them to school with José.
During the day went to the gym and relaxed a bit. In the afternoon picked the boys up and did bring them to there activities. In the evening had my first cluster meeting where we did play mini golf. Once a month all the au pairs from my agency in the area come to meet and catch up, there about 25 au pairs.

Then Wednesday came , drop off goes already lot easier know what to do and be quick home ;). Time for the gym, time to get ready for the summer :o. Later some shopping and continuing my new Netflix series "Orange is the new black".
In the evening there was an au pair Starbucks night ;) great to meet new people from my area. Will see how this will end.

The first impression is really good. Good click with the family i would say. They are really busy but soon will get used to it, keeps me also busy and can relax during the day if i need too.
The house has 4 floors, basement: with a boys cave and storage room, 1st floor kitchen and living room, 2nd floor my room, parents room and guest room, 3th floor Boys rooms and play room again. The neighborhood is great all fancy houses around us and lots of space.
Also feel pretty much home in the "au pair car" GMC Denali. Its pretty big but fun driving.

This was it for now. Feel free to ask questions if you have them more then happy to answer them.

More soon from me Bye bye,
Rik

Ready steady GO

Heey

The time as come tomorrow morning I'm flying to New York with a stop in Frankfurt. Heading at 4.00 to the Airport. Then hopefully 14.30 local time arrive in New York.
Everything is packed hopefully. Otherwise theres more to shop if i did forget something ;).

Last month was pretty busy specially with the holidays in between.
Had a nice and relaxing Christmas basically preparing more and more for New York with watching trainings on the internet what have to be done for the agency so we all know some of the development of kids. Was not that much special for me but what must be done must be done.
Further in December spent lot of days working at my Nursery "Kombino" was nice to be back and spent some time with the kids and colleagues.
New Years Eve in Rotterdam together with "ex" au pair from Nesselande. Met the girls in between my New Zealand and Denmark adventure. Was nice to see them again and start together 2018.

Then i realized at the 1st of January there just 9days left. Wauw kind of nice to see and feel it goes so fast with all these special days but the other hand its there now. Last days used to say goodbye to some friends and family. Getting more and more ready for my adventure.

Thursday 4th of January last day of work for the 4th time saying goodbye at my Nursery. Weird feeling couple of colleagues did say well see you when you home again haha, will see will see.
Not that much was ordered in my head for America when i was still working so used Friday to get everything more organized in my head and see what i still had to do. Luckily wasn't to much :).
On Saturday went to Utrecht where I met with a cousin of the Kidder family (American family). She has been for a couple of months an au pair for them. Nice to chat and getting some more information.
In the evening was it time for some beer and wine and lots of chats with some friends ;).
Sunday checked if the list i made for my suitcase did also fit. What a miracle what I estimate did fit. In the afternoon some mommy time. Always good and special to be together. Know will be tough sometimes but can do it together.

Then today "Monday" came and the final check if everything is complete. Plus checked in online for the flight. Ready for take off.

I feel ready for this new adventure. Did look forwards to this for a long time and now the time as come tomorrow I fly to New York.
First 2 orientation days in Manhattan were in the evening we got time for ourself so that must be great to discover already a bit of New York. My host dad "David" will pick me up on Thursday and bring me to my new home.

But first tomorrow the flight for the first time will be flying with 2 other au pairs, booked seats next to each other so don't think i get bored. And in New York will have a great couple of days before everything starts.

This is the site / link where you can follow my adventure in the States.

Will keep you all posted.

Bye The Netherlands and Hello The States.

Counting down for the USA.

Welcome on my US blog,

Hope you all doing well.

In exactly a month i will be flying to New York, woehoe ;).

This time will my blog be in English. Because of all my traveling in the last years, have i met more and more people from other countries. Would like to give them the opportunity as well to follow my adventures if they wish too.

A bit from the last couple of months:
In the beginning of September i came home from Denmark were i was au pair for 9 months by the Hoffmann family. Great experience in the capital Copenhagen.
Since I'm home in the first week i had a shoulder operation to hopefully fix the problem from dislocating my shoulder. Operation went good and the doctor was happy with the result. The first 4 weeks in a sling to get some rest and hopefully it heals better. 3 times a week to the physiotherapist was intense but the recovering went quick and good.
The recovering went really well. That they even had to slow me down a bit so i didn't over do it. After 1.5 month i did still good. I went to Center Parks "Bispringen" with my Denmark hostfamily. Was great to catch up some time with the boys and of course did enjoy the week together.
Back home i did asked nursery "Kombino" were i have been working between my au pair adventures. If by any change i could come back till i go to the US to help as a substitute. That was really easy because a week later i could start first of November was my first day.
Because of some troubles at the nursery i did have 3 days for sure every week working. Im really pleased i could come back for the third time and work this much in the months im home.

Now its only 1 more month till i go to New York and start a new adventure there. Hopefully will meet great people and see all or as much as i can from US. I know its a big country but will see how for i will come.
On the 9th of January i will fly with 2 other dutch girls (Stefanie and Simone) first to Frankfurt and then to New York. Stefanie will be living about 15min by car from my place in the US. We do live further apart in The Netherlands :).

A bit info about my Hostfamily:
The family i will be au pair for lives in Rye about 30-40min by train to city center. The have 3 boys Jack 12, Stephen 10, Lucas 7. The boys play lacrosse and like to be active. Further they are playing in a little band: drum, guitar, saxophone. So i will bring my own clarinet with me and see what we can do together.
The boys like to play with Lego and boardgames. I would say everything i did like to do when i was little and still do.

Every month we did skype together to get a bit used to each other. Last Sunday Lucas did show me a bit of his room was great to hear him speak about everything with lot of passion and proud he did show me his miniature village.
With every skype im getting new and more energy, getting really exited to go. Cant wait.

This is it for now. If you want to keep track and follow my adventures in the US this is the place to follow will keep you updated about everything what will happen.

First before this all starts. I wish you all a great Christmas and enjoy New Years Eve. Hopefully i will see you all here back in 2018.

Merry Christmas ho ho hooo.
